Whatās your next big idea?
Whether you want to create something new or to increase your outreach, letās make it happen. I can help with stakeholder management, projects, public awareness, communities, events, and websites. Below you can see what I mean by those terms and my experience in these areas.
Stakeholder management
Stakeholder management includes identifying new coalition members, reaching out to potential partners, building communication channels, engaging stakeholders, and resolving conflicts.
Bring members with a shared interest together towards a common goal in the context that matters to you: manage external experts, coordinate a network of organisations, or involve civil society in policy making.
Benefit from my experience. With wonderful people at the Free Software Foundation Europe I :
- Built and coordinated a coalition which secured better national legislation regarding Internet access in Greece.
- Promoted and coordinated an open letter for the EC Ecodesign Directive which attracted 100+ international stakeholders, environmental and technical experts.
You are not alone. Find the network you need.
Project management
A web service, a publication, a campaign; every work package requires good project management.
As part of the EuroClio team I have successfully assisted the management of EU-funded projects. My work included reporting, financial administration support, organising and participating in transnational project meetings for:
- Opening Up Historiana, funded by Connecting Europe Facility.
- Teaching European History in the XXI Century, funded by Erasmus+ Key Action 2. Ā
- Event planning for Learning to Disagree, funded by Erasmus+ Key Action 2.
I can make sure allĀ commitments are deliveredĀ andĀ keep project partners up to dateĀ for upcoming important tasks.
Public awareness
Communicating complex ideas simply is my passion. I effectively convey messages to varied audiences.
- My storytelling in History has been incorporated by leading teachers in Europe into lesson plans.
I specialize in presenting technical issues to a non-technical audience. At the Free Software Foundation Europe I managed to:
- Coordinate and edit monthly newsletters for two years.
- Compile two annual reports.
- Commission and write 12 articles on digital rights, part of organizational outreach.
- Manage social media accounts in 7 platforms; 73% average increase in 9 months.
Spread the word!
Community building, Membership engagement
I love bringing together people towards a common goal and making them succeed. This can be applied in community building or membership engagement. Both focus on relationships and shared interests, but typically memberships have more formal structure and distinct objectives.
At the FSFE I was trusted with the role of the community coordinator. With proactive and clear communication, I improved the organisationās connection with its 27 volunteer groups in Europe.
As Community / Membership coordinator I can:
- Design successful growth strategy based on feedback.
- Started a new local chapter, especially in Greece.
- Find engagement opportunities for individuals or organizations.
- Respond to membersā needs by onboarding newcomers, answering and redirecting questions, troubleshooting.
- Promote and host community meetings.
- Increase the frequency and quality of events.
- Run fundraising activities.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing among members.
Most importantly, I foster an atmosphere in which members are excited to contribute.
Events & Facilitation
Events are fun but demanding. From start to finish an event needs planning, promotion, communication, setting up, and moderation. I facilitate all stages for a range of events:
- Community events
- Project partner meetings
- Conferences
- Ceremonies
- Information booths
I turn online and in-person events into a success and facilitate personal interaction.
Website management
Your online platform deserves the best. Letās work together to make sure your website reflects the message you want to send. I deal with:
- Professional websites
- Businesses
- Project pages
- Campaigns
The process can include building your online brand, photographing, setting up a website, improving your current website, or keeping it up to date.
